Hello again! I'm not sure about you, but I don't get enough sleep, I don't always eat that great and I have horrible seasonal allergies. All those factors along with genetics equals horrendous dark circles and under eyes bags...whaaa! Some days are worse than others, when I eat delicious Chinese take-out (high salt content), when Alan and I stay up too late watching a GOT marathon (totally worth it). I wake up the next day and BAM, it's like the bags smacked me in the face. I'm not alone, right?!
I'm going to show you how I cover my dark circles and under eye bags. It takes a little practice and you can alter it to your needs by applying more or less product. Some of the products I use for this process are on the higher end side, but this can totally be achieved by using drugstore products. I don't do this exact routine every day because it takes some time. But if I want to feel my best and not look like I was punched in my eyes, then this is my routine!
Some tips when using this technique for extreme dark circles and bags:
I know for some this may be a lot of makeup and steps, just to cover up your under eyes, but it works like nothing else! I mean, if you can fake a good nights sleep and healthy eating, then, why not?! You can reserve this technique when you have a fun night out or an occasion such as a wedding. It's not something I do every day, either. But if I want to look and feel on point, this is my go to, without fail process. It gives me that fresh, awake and "I live a stress free life" look. So, now you know the secret of how those celebs and models always look so well rested. And if you see me and I look fresh and well rested, chances are I took the time to go this technique.
I made a little video to go with this post. It's definitely not perfect (far from it). But it's my first video and it shows you the gist of how I conceal my under eye baggage. Don't be too harsh on my video skills...it's a work in progress!
Products I used for this technique are listed below:
