I love a good smokey eye...who doesn't?! It's so pretty and sultry. It can be done really soft and muted or super dramatic and intense. Plus, a smokey eye can be done in pretty much any deeper eyeshadow shade. So, you can do what ever specific shade compliments your coloring.
I chose this wine stained color because I received this sample color in my Ipsy subscription, and I just fell in love! Wine or plum colors really compliment brown or hazel eyes. Plums and warm browns look great on green eyes. And bronzes and coppers look amazing on blue or grey eyes.
This is a makeup look that any makeup novice can totally do! I mean, this look was applied in about 15 minutes with my boys asking me for something every two minutes! Trust me, YOU can do this, too!

The Wet n Wild Contour Stick was limited edition, so this NYX Contour Stick is a good dupe/alternative.
